Richard M. Williamson

Chairman of the Board

Mr. Williamson has served on the FMH Board since its inception in 2011, was an original member of the FINCA International Board and is a founding member of FINCA. He served as Chief Executive Officer of FINCA International from 1990 to 1993.

With over 30 years of financial management and restructuring experience, Mr. Williamson has assisted companies in developing financial, operational and organizational strategies for distressed situations. Previously, Mr. Williamson was a partner of a Big Five accounting firm, spent ten years in private practice, led the successful global restructuring of AMERCO (the parent company of U-Haul) and served as Managing Director of Alvarez & Marsal. A licensed certified public accountant and a certified insolvency and restructuring advisor, he is also a member of the Turnaround Management Association, American Bankruptcy Institute and the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors.
